Hi readers & followers.
Today, I want to star away from business-oriented topics and talk about my hobby!
My hobby is trekking. Who’s with me on this topic?
– Mountain paradise Japan –
Did you know that Japan’s national land area is approximately 37.78 million hectares? According to the “National Land Survey in 1982,” 61% of the total land area is mountainous and 12% is hilly. Small basins are located in the mountainous areas, and small planes are spread out along the coast, with population, arable land, urban functions, and economic functions concentrated in narrow plains and basins. In particular, the aforementioned urban functions and economic infrastructure are concentrated in the Pacific Belt region.

My hometown, Gunma Prefecture, is in eastern central Japan. It might not make it onto many Japan bucket lists, but there are plenty of reasons it should. From outdoor activities and a unique history of horse breeding to natural wonders, Gunma has it all. History and outdoor lovers alike can find something to enjoy in this prefecture, just a few hours north of Tokyo.
Gunma Prefecture offers a variety of activities for nature lovers, history buffs, and adventure seekers.

My parents run a car dealership, and as a child, I was taken in their campervan to various places around Japan.
At that time, I often went camping with my family to mountainous areas to spend holidays. We didn’t climb mountains but spent our time BBQing, fishing in the river, and gathering wild vegetables. Having such a childhood, I always had a natural interest in mountains, but it was not until I was in my late 20s that I started mountain climbing.
I first started my trekking activity with one of the life-longing friend from hometown in 2013. I still remember that the first time was a greatest thought in memory.
Ever since, I been trekking couple time a year with my buddy to achieve 100 of mountains in Japan.
I hope to share some of my trekking adventure within this Blog someday.
